Time for stamping...stress relief.

After a much dreaded day of school shopping, it is time to sit down and get some stamping done.  For me this is a great stress reliever.   I got my package from unity stamps the other day...and a small surprise package of freebies...

More about me.....

I got addicted to stamping and making cards a few years ago when I went to a Stampin' Up card class.  I left that first class with a few less dollars in my pocket and I also told the demonstrator who held the class that I was going to be her new best friend...lol...we are great friends to this day... although I am a demonstrator I do not hold classes...I buy mainly for myself.  My friend recently presented on stage at Stampin' Ups convention this year....WOO HOO GO KIM VOGEL...YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!  I still go to her classes and probably will til my money runs out.   I love Stampin' Ups products and I love the friends I have made going to these classes.

I love Unity Stamps

I  recently found out about Unity Stamp Company on facebook...and I must say I have fallen in love with them, I may need to find a second job to keep up with my hobby.   Here are a couple of cards I have made with my recently purchased stamps.

This card was made using " As We Go Along" and a sentiment from another Unity set.  I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper, colored them with Spectrum Noir markers and then cut them out.

This was made using "Bird With a French Fry"  I love bird stamps and I have always loved this saying "Today I will be happier than a bird with a french fry."  It makes me smile as my granddaughters get the biggest kick out of feeding the seagulls french frys....you cannot truly appreciate this unless you have a granddaughter who suffers from depression and poor self esteem, and then watched and listened to her laugh hysterically as seagulls dive bomb your car maniacally while two little girls throw french fries out the window and then hurry to put it up  the window so the seagull doesn't fly into your car....honest....it almost happened.   I laughed so hard just listening to her laugh.  It was so good to hear her laughter....$1.49 box of fries, $4.00 for  gas to drive to town, and listening to her laugh hysterically and watch the joy on her face....ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS.   We actually do this at least 4 times a year.  Its cheap entertainment.  So now you know the truth about why I bought this stamp...LOL...
